In preparation for upcoming five-year USAID-funded program « Youth Connect » which will equip vulnerable young women and men in Niger with technical and life skills, networks, and capital for increased strategic economic opportunities, Bioengineering and Agribusiness Consulting (BAC) was please was pleased to accompany a Creative Associates International staff member in Niger.
The Youth Connect program is one of several activities supporting USAID’s Bridge project, devoted to addressing the development challenges at the nexus of countering violent extremism and resilience. The goal of the activity is to equip vulnerable young women and men in Niger and Burkina Faso with technical and transferable life skills, networks, and capital for accessing increased viable and decent economic opportunities.
As facilitator, Aminou Salifou from BAC provided technical support (in mid January 2020) for Creative one home-office staff member to hold meetings with relevant government, civil society, and private sector actors in Niger.
